Foot Chart
I need a square foot estimating chart for cleaning business offices?

I HAVE A NEW CLEANING BUSINESS .BUT DONT REALY KNOW WHAT TO CHARGE TO DO THE CLEANING BY THE FOOT OR BY THE JOB SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SOMEONE COULD TELL ME HOW TO CHARGE AND HOW MUCH TO CHARGE

i acutally just went thru that last week.(well similar kinda).. me and my cuzin started a cleaning business and we got a call to clean Condo apartments… three seperate buildings.. hallways basements stairwells, etc…. everything except the inside of the apartments….

what we did was scoped out what we were going to clean.. sat down and figured… in each buildings there is 12 hall ways… 3 rec rooms 3 bathrooms…etc… we figured that it would be about $60.00 per buildling approx. 2 hours… so $180 a day for all three buildings….

just dont underestimate yourself… your time = money…

we didnt like going by the square foot… and it makes alot of clients lives easier if we are able to tell them up front .. ok 5 rooms will take about 5 hours give or take a half hour or so…

we do residential… 25 an hour for what we call a basic clean
and 35 an hour for a Full clean (includes EVERYTHING)

we are pretty low prices.

now for business we do roughly 30 an hour.. which is right down the center…

just figure out how long its going to take you… make a list of EVERYTHING you will be cleaning…. chairs desks wastebaskets windows etc…. practice in your home office and take that time and multiply it by how many offices you are going to have to clean..

create an easy formula for yourself basically!

good luck.. hope it work out

also if there were cleaning serivices before you.. find out what they got paid… that always helps…
